The style we're aiming for is similar to the iconic manga Blame!—a classic black and white ink approach, with detailed, atmospheric linework and strong, dynamic compositions. If you're skilled in creating immersive and intricate worlds through your art, we'd love to see your portfolio. This is a unique opportunity to bring a compelling vision to life.
Skills & Requirements
Strong proficiency in black and white ink illustration with a focus on high-detail linework and shading.
Experience in creating manga or graphic novels, particularly in a dystopian or sci-fi setting.
Ability to convey mood and atmosphere through stark contrasts, light, and shadow.
Excellent storytelling skills through sequential art and visual narrative techniques.
Knowledge of traditional and digital drawing tools, with a preference for artists who work in a classic manga style.
Strong portfolio showcasing completed manga or graphic novel work, especially in black and white.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to take direction and incorporate feedback while maintaining the project's artistic vision.
Understanding of character design and world-building.
Strong time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines for project milestones.
Experience with concept design for manga-style or graphic-novel projects is a plus.
